Regina Dawn Newton, born November 3, 1964, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024.
Regina was a proud graduate of Hinton High School and earned her cosmetology license shortly after. She spent nearly two decades working at Ruiz Foods, where her dedication and work ethic left a lasting impression on those around her.
Regina is now reunited in heaven with her beloved parents, Howard LaFrance, and Vina Garrison; her sister, Barbra LaFrance; and her nephew, Richard Henderson.
She leaves behind a family that adored her, including her devoted husband, Mark Newton; her children, Nikki Newton, Dillon Garner, Cheryl Linn, Kenneth Cochran, and Jason Cochran; and her cherished grandchildren, Kaleigh Cochran, Colby Talley, Michael Cochran, Elizabeth Cochran, Sidney Cochran, and Bailey Trammell. Regina is also survived by her loving sisters, Pat Brokaw and Diana Henderson, along with countless extended family members and friends.
Regina was the embodiment of warmth and joy, with a personality as vibrant as her love for dancing. She never met a stranger and treated everyone as though they were her own family. An avid traveler and devoted fan of Los Lonely Boys, Regina found happiness in the little things and spread love wherever she went. Her unwavering support and larger-than-life spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
A celebration of Regina's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 9, 2024, at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel. In honor of her memory, the family invites you to share your favorite stories and memories of Regina, celebrating the incredible legacy she leaves behind. Family and friends will gather to visit from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas.
Her smile, laughter, and love will be missed, but her memory will live on in the lives of those she touched.
Rest easy, Regina. You will forever dance in our hearts.
