Reginald L. Boggs

Reginald Lamont Boggs was born in Anderson, South Carolina on January 26, 1977 to Lester Richardson and to the late Barbara Jean Boggs. He departed February 9, 2024 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
He is survived by two sons, Zayshawn Boggs and Dayjuan Dean Merriweather both of Anderson, SC; father, Lester Richardson of Anderson, SC; three brothers, Larry Vincent Boggs, John Leon Boggs of Anderson, SC, and Eric Lamont Boggs of Greenville, SC; one sister, Sandra Rene Boggs of Anderson, SC; four aunts, Carlyn McElrath of Antreville, SC, Barabara Ann Boggs of Anderson, SC, Rita (Rodney) Stowers, and Pauline Boggs of Anderson, SC; three uncles, J.C. Boggs and Leroy Boggs of Abbeville, SC, and John Calvin Boggs of Greenville, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
Reginald attended Westside High School. He was kind and welcoming to every person that he encountered. He kept those around him laughing and leaving them with some type of historical knowledge. He loved his son dearly and his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Natasha Curry Boggs, his mother his uncle Eric D. Boggs, his grandmother, Fannie Boggs, and his aunt, Rosa Galloway.

Funeral service for Reginald Lamont Boggs will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 2:00 pm at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson.
Public viewing will be Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the mortuary.
