Reginald D. Preyer

REGINALD DEWAYNE PREYER was born December 27, 1972, to Willie and Anita J. Preyer in Mobile, AL. Reginald "Reg" departed this earthly life for a life of eternity on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

He was a graduate of Baker High School Class of 1992. He had a passion for football and played with the Municipal Park (Little League), Hillsdale Middle School, and Baker High School.

He was baptized at an early age at Friendship Baptist Church, which he attended until his early 20s and joined New Area Baptist Church. He attended Sunday School, BTU, and sang in the Youth and Men's Choir. He was employed by Evergreen Transportation as a truck driver. A career he truly loved and highly thought of by his fellow co-workers.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Anita J. Williams-Preyer and his daughter, Chelsea Marissa Preyer.

Reginald leaves to cherish his father, Willie (Sharon) Preyer of Mobile, AL; wife, Nicole Marshall-Preyer: two daughters, Jasmine and Kaitlyn Preyer of Mobile, AL; two sons: Reginald Williams (Lovie) of Mobile, AL and Trent Preyer of Birmingham, AL; three granddaughters: Reginae Williams, LaToria Williams, and Harmonie Diamond; three grandsons Reginald Williams II, Ashtun Carter, and Ace Hobson all of Mobile, AL.; four brothers: Melvin (Marinette, WI), Willie "Darnell" Preyer, Roderick of Sun ower, AL and Nathaniel "Nate" (Ida) of Mobile, AL; two sisters: Tisunja "T.J." Preyer of Semmes and Cynthia "Chee-Chee" Preyer-Davis (Johnathan) of Foley, AL: four uncles Charles Preyer of Brooklyn, NY, Baron "Peter" Peavy of Mobile, AL Terry Williams (Shirley) Ellenwood, GA and Larry Williams of Phoenix, AZ; four aunts Janie B. Culberson and Carolyn Peavy both of Mobile, AL, Diane Wilkerson and Verlsie Green both of Detroit, MI: his grandmother, Nancy Preyer-Swindle, mother-in-law Mary Marshall of Dawes, AL; brother in laws John (Leona) and Reginald Marshall both of Mobile, AL. Godmother, Janie Mae Wallce of Mobile, AL and Godfather, Charlie Lawson of Mobile, AL. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, God sisters, God brothers, a host of other relatives and friends, two devoted: Shaun Bernard and Ben Curtis.
