Reginald Tidball

Age 84, completed his life on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI at 2 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2026; Rev. Terry Bate and Rev. Rick Schmidt officiating. Private Interment will take place at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at Allen Funeral Home from 3 – 5 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, and from 1 PM until the time of service on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, Reg and his family are requesting that a gift of time, a random act of kindness or a gift of money be made in his memory to Reel Recovery of Michigan (reelrecovery.org) or Flushing Community Church of the Nazarene, 9500 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, MI 48433. Reginald was born in Flint on September 13, 1941, son of the late Clyde and Elleen (Young) Tidball. He retired from Buick Powertrain in 1999. Reg was married to two great ladies in his life. He was first married to the late, Marion Parker, and most recently, Judy Hobson-Simpson. He believed in getting involved in the community and anywhere else there was a need. He served on the Genesee School Board, and volunteered with Junior Achievement, Give Kids the World, and Prostate Coalition of Michigan. He led the Us Too Prostate Education and Support Group in Flint for a couple of decades, was an Ambassador at the McLaren Hospitality House, and was the Michigan Coordinator for Reel Recovery (a fly-fishing retreat for men with cancer) for over a decade. Reginald is survived by his loving wife, Judy; daughter, Christine (Scott) Niblock; granddaughter, Maddy Niblock (Andrew White); he is also survived by Judy's kids: Todd (Amy) Simpson, Tracy (Matt) Davis, and Tara (Rich Saterbo) Simpson; Judy's grandchildren: Mikinzi (Hayden) Neese, Riley Simpson, Rio Knowles, Macy Davis, Sara (Sterling) Bubolz, Chase Davis, Gunner Simpson, Garon Simpson, Lakin (Avery) Anderson, Gauge (Tiffany) Ives; great-grandchildren, Atlee Neese and Ella Bubolz. He is also survived by brother, Gary Tidball; niece, Cara Bailey; nephew, Marty (Elaine) Tidball; and sister-in-law, Nancy Tinnin.
