Kinback, Regis J. Sr., 80, Lilly, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 8, 1944, Lilly, son of the late Robert and Mary (McEwan) Kinback. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by children, James Kinback and another son lost in infancy, Regis Kinback Jr; brothers, Gerald (Barbara) Kinback, Thomas (Rose) Kinback, Bernard (Lois) Kinback, and William Kinback; sisters, Catherine (Albert) Shedlock, Connie (Leo) Grove, and Audrey (James) Edmundson. He is survived by his beloved wife Joan (Guzic) Kinback of 60 years this November; sons, Robert (Denise) Kinback; daughter, Jennifer (Paul) Farabaugh; grandchildren, Dylan Kinback, Ryan Farabaugh, Brandon Farabaugh, Hailey Farabaugh, Emily Farabaugh, and Derek Kinback. Regis retired as a welder from Johnstown America Corp. He also served on the Lilly Boro Council and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Council 11084 and lifetime member Slovak Citizens Club, Lilly. He enjoyed reading, spending time with family, going to the Lilly Sokals and American Legion Post 628, fishing, and cheering on his grandchildren at athletic events and band concerts. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 3-7 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cresson, with a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 10 a.m., Our Lady of the Alleghenies, 608 Main St., Lilly, Fr. Mathew Reese celebrant. Burial will be private at St. Brigid Cemetery, Lilly. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson, “Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care.” Condolences may be made at AndersonFamilyFuneralHomes.com
