Reinold Lambert

Reinold David Lambert, age 76, of Oklee, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025. Reinold was born on July 29, 1948, in Crookston, Minnesota, to Dewey and Dorothy (Boucher) Lambert.
Reinold grew up in the small town of Oklee, where he developed a love for fishing and hunting, pastimes that he cherished throughout his life. He attended Oklee High School and later served his country with honor in the U.S. Army. After receiving an honorable discharge, Reinold explored different professions, but he found the greatest enjoyment in working at Forsbergs Inc and as a professional painter.
On June 30, 1973, he married Linda Longtin, and together they had five daughters: Kimberly, Stacy, Tina, Brandi, and Kelsey. Reinold was a proud "girl dad," and his patience was often tested as he navigated life in a one-bathroom home with a houseful of girls.
Reinold was known for his quiet nature, his kindness, and his surprisingly witty sense of humor. His heart was happiest when surrounded by family, especially his many grandchildren who he loved dearly. He found joy in his daily coffee, doodling inventions in his sketchbook, reading the newspaper, and watching a good western.
Reinold was preceded in death by his daughter, Brandi Jo, grandson, Ethan Rathke, parents, Dewey and Dorothy Lambert, brothers, Michael, Dean, and Terrance, and nephew Andy Paquin.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly (Christopher) Fromm, Stacy (James) Rathke, Tina (James) Brannen, and Kelsey (Christopher) McLean; grandchildren, Drew, Addison, Sophie, Grant, Mason, Isabella, Caden, Chloe, Kora, and Owen; siblings, Bonnie Paquin, Margaret (Stu) Peterson, Donna (Steve) Linder; sister-in-law, Jenna Lambert; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place on May 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee, MN, followed by lunch and a burial at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
