Rena (Betolatti) Bua, 96 of Adams, MA died on Thursday August 22, 2024 at Williamstown Commons.
Rena was born in Cheshire, MA on March 28, 1928, a daughter of Geralamo and Pierina (Volpe) Betolatti. She enjoyed her family, knitting, reading (especially the National Geographic magazine), crossword puzzles, cooking, and traveling. She was a communicant of the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Adams, and a member of the Gold Card Ladies Luncheon Club at Sprague Electric, where she worked as an export operations account manager before her retirement. She was a Pro Merito graduate of the former Adams High School.
She was the widow of John Bua who died February 12, 2016. They were married on July 10, 1948. Survivors include two sons, James A. Bua (Sharon Oakes) of Monroe, MA and Jeffrey P. Bua of Santa Barbara, CA. She also leaves two grandchildren, Shane (Michelle McGrady) Bua and Ashley Bua, one sister, Rosetta (Rene) Gazaille of Adams, MA, several brothers-and-sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Rena Bua will be Thursday August 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Pop Cares in care of the funeral home. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com
