Rena V. Buser

Ridgeley, WV-

Our dearly beloved Rena "Renie" Buser (Robinette), age 80, passed away on January 30th, 2026, at her home in Ridgeley, West Virginia.

Born to Myrtle and John Robinette, Rena was born on June 6, 1945. She graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1964. In 1973, she married Ronald "Ronnie" Buser, and she later went on to work as a CNA, then secretary for Sacred Heart Hospital.

One can most accurately describe Rena as one of the kindest souls to walk this earth. She radiated a warmth and goodness remembered fondly by all her friends and family. As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, her profound admiration for her family transcended all distance and barriers, and her life was a testament to her unconditional love.

Rena was a talented bowler and shared this hobby with her husband, Ronnie. Most memorably, Rena was an avid animal lover and her particular affection for dogs was reflected by the many she adopted throughout her life. The compassion she showed all living things, humans and animals alike, demonstrated her selfless nature, which was one of her countless incredible qualities. Whether it was her quick wit or comforting words of wisdom, Rena was always the most delightful company.

Rena was easily one of the greatest blessings bestowed upon her family, and anyone to have had the honor of knowing Rena treasured her deeply.

Rena's memory is cherished and kept-alive by her sons Christopher Buser and Timothy "Reba" Buser (Bernice Buser); her grandchildren Andrew Buser (Brooke Buser), Brittina Lee (Dylan Lee)Shelley Leisch (Samuel Leisch), Megan Faidley (Chris Faidley), Carly Buser, Stefan Buser, and Micah Persinger (Tony Persinger); great-grandchildren Weston Buser, Riley Buser, Ashlyn Lee, Amyah Lee, and Haven Leisch; and her many beloved cousins. Rena is preceded in passing by her husband Ronald "Ronnie" Buser, mother Myrtle Robinette, father John Robinette, sons Kevin Buser and Howard "Howie" Buser, and daughter-in-law Michele Buser.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on Thursday, February 19th from 5-7 PM. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM.

There will be a private interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
