Renae Vogt Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Renae Vogt (Borders). Renae passed unexpectedly at her home in Baxter on May 18th. 2024. A memorial service will be held on May 23rd at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior At Brenny Family Funeral Home in Baxter. The burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd at a later date. There will be a lunch to follow at The Brainerd Eagles club.
She was born on November 30th, 1952, to Clinton (Buster) and Elaine (Jaglo) Borders. Renae Married John Vogt on September 11th, 1997. Renae came from a big family and her family meant everything to her. Renae had five brothers, Rick, Jeff, Brad, Dan, and Greg and two sisters. Kim and Sandra. Three daughters Melissa (Tim) Eid, Stefani Bourassa, and Rachel Bourassa, two stepson’s Mike (Kayla) Vogt, Brandon (Jessica) Vogt, and a stepdaughter Amber (Wade) Wink. She had fourteen Grandchildren, Danielle (Audrey) Foss, Alexia Magnan, Breanna Cantu, Chasen and Zoey Lavoy, Brianna, Arianna, and Skyler Wink, Jordan, Jackson, and William Vogt, and Rory, Peyton, and Hunter Vogt, and two Great Grandchildren Arthur Bieber, and Jupiter Magnan.
Renae dedicated her work career to Weizeneggar Engel Insurance. She loved working there and considered everyone not only to be coworkers but cherished friends. Renae retired after 50 years in November of 2017.
She was also a dedicated member of the Brainerd Eagles club for 40 years. And has held all positions. She will be missed by all her brothers and sisters in the club.
Renae loved to go camping, playing bingo, going to the casino, and most importantly loved spending time with her family.
Renae will be greatly missed by so many families and friends she touched so many people’s hearts. Renae is proceeded in death by both parents and in-laws, her husband John Vogt, daughter Rachel Bourassa, and granddaughter Breanna Cantu.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
