A Resident of Schaumburg for 22 years
Family and friends of Renato Colombo, 95, will gather for visitation, Thursday, October 16 from 9:00am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Archangels Parish-St. Matthew Church, 1001 E. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
Born March 9, 1930 in Milan, Italy to Carlo and Celest (nee Guranieri) he passed away peacefully October 11, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Renato loved to watch Italian soccer and was an avid fan of John Wayne movies. He enjoyed reading and was a fabulous cook. His traditional Christmas lasagna was legendary and spoken of throughout the suburbs.
Renato was the adoring husband of 64 years to Patricia (nee Sill); loving brother-in-law to Lisa Perez; fond uncle to Ashley Perez; beloved great uncle to Beckham and Landon Perez; dear friend to many. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched, especially those dear friends who lived on Hinkle Court and Hinkle Lane in Schaumburg.
Renato's family requests any flowers arrangements to be red, white and green to pay homage to his Italian heritage.
