Rendell C. Webb Jr, age 84, entered eternal rest on July 5, 2025, with his loving wife, Cristela, by his side and daughter, Alyson, caring for him. He was born on June 17, 1941, to Rendell and Madeline Webb in Paris, Texas. He graduated from Winnsboro High School in 1959 and with a degree in Civil engineering from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas, graduating in 1965.
He began his engineering career with the engineering firm Reagan and McCaughan until 1985. Following the deaths of his mentors Mr. Reagan and Mr. McCaughan, he and four partners purchased Naismith Engineering Civil Engineers. He worked for Naismith Engineering until his full retirement in 2018 with serving as company president for 16 of those years. He worked on many projects for the City of Corpus Christi, along with the surrounding areas. He was a dedicated Civil Engineer and served on many committees while volunteering in his community.
Outside of his profession, he lived a very full life with his wife Cristela. They loved to travel and saw much of the world, with his favorite always being his travels to Canada. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, Jerod, James, Jacoby, and Addison Alanis. He was a giver of his time, knowledge, and experience. He was always ready with a fun-fact or two when with his grandchildren. He was a proud Popo, always with this camera ready when watching his grandchildren play sports/school events and not to mention every holiday. In everything he did, he did it with honesty, kindness, love, responsibility, and humility. He is incredibly missed by all those who know him and love him.
Rendell's life will be honored at Seaside Memorial Home with a Visitation on Friday, July 18th from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th at 10:00 am celebrating his beautiful life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rendell and Madeline Land Webb, his sister, Sue Durham, his sister-in-law Alicia Williams, his lifelong best friend/brother Bob Cooper, and Faye Webb, to whom he was married for 42 years.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 18 years Cristela Neale-Webb, daughter Alyson Neale, grandchildren Jerod, James, Jacoby, and Addison Alanis along with numerous family and friends.
