Renée Pillow Faughn, a cherished soul whose life was marked by devotion to her family and church, passed away on the 10th of April, 2024, at her residence in Paragould, Arkansas. Born on July 12, 1959, Renée's journey was one of love, service, and joy that touched the lives of many.
Renée spent her professional years as a dedicated loan officer at Focus Bank, where her integrity, warmth, and expertise earned her the respect and trust of her colleagues and clients alike. Her commitment to her work was paralleled only by her involvement with the Center Hill Church of Christ, where she was a longtime member. Renée's faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her.
Renée was particularly devoted to her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Her love for them was a beacon that guided family gatherings, and her presence was a source of comfort and joy. She found solace and satisfaction in mowing the yard, creating a space for her family to enjoy. Renée's zest for life was evident in her love for the outdoors, where she found immense joy in tending to her vibrant flower gardens.
Renée cherished the holiday season, with Christmas holding a special place in her heart. Her passion for Christmas was seen in the meticulous and loving way she decorated her home.
Renée was preceded in death by her father, Joe Mack Pillow; brother, Joey Pillow; sister, Debbie Pillow Greene; father-in-law, Albert Faughn; sister-in-law, Kathy Agee Pillow; niece, Anna Pillow; and grandchildren, Raleigh Faughn and Henrietta Faughn.
Survivors include her husband, Carey Faughn; mother, Irene Pillow; mother-in-law, Doris Faughn; son, Ricky Faughn (Maggie); daughter, April Faughn Powell (Steven); brother, Jimmy Pillow (Tammy), sisters-in-law, Vickie Roden (Ken) and Darlene Pillow; grandchildren, Abby Powell, Emma Powell, Hayden Faughn, Helen Faughn, Nathaniel Powell (Clara), and Ashlyn Eddy; great-grandchildren, Beau Eddy and Jackie Eddy; numerous nieces, nephews, and nephews-in-law.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 15, from noon until service time at Center Hill Church of Christ. A celebration of Renée's life will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Center Hill Church of Christ with Michael Meredith, David Deffenbaugh, and Ken Roden officiating.
Christ Oost, Chris Hardin, Justin Pillow, Bruce Murrell, Anthony Watson, Brad Daugherty, Kyle Roden, David Romine, Glen Burnett, and Cody Davis will serve as honorary pallbearers.
If one wishes to make a lasting memorial, Renée would be honored with donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
