Robert Terry Faughn

Robert Terry Faughn, age 71, of Forrest City, died Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. His death came sudden and unexpected. Terry was born January 1, 1954,in Belleville, Illinois, and was the son of William 'Bob' Faughn and Myrtle Bardmess Faughn Jones. He lived in St. Francis County most of his life, was retired from Ozark Trucking and worked for the St. Francis County Sheriff's Office for thirty-six years. He was a member of the Arkansas Sheriffs Association and spent his entire life helping others. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling. Terry married Brenda Plunkett and she survives him along with three sons; Robert Faughn Jr. of Forrest City, John Culver of Miami, Florida, and Michael Culver, and wife, Machelle, of Jonesboro, three daughters; Julie Womack of Forrest City, Pamela Slunt, and husband, Chris, of Vero Beach, Florida, and Susan Lewis, and husband, Shannon, of Ward, Arkansas, his mother, Myrtle Faughn Jones, eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00 P.M., Wednesday. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M., until the time of the service. The family will be at the daughter's home, Julie Womack, 244 SFC 333, Forrest City, Arkansas, for those who would like to come by. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
