Mrs. Ronnie J. Nix, 78, of Forrest City, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Forrest City Medical Center. Ronnie was born in Helena, Arkansas, on September 12, 1946, to the late Jesse Franklin Webb and Hazel Bell Trump Webb. She was a registered nurse and was an adjunct professor at Mid-South Community College. Ronnie was very active in her community. She served as president of the Junior Auxiliary of Marianna and was a Forrest City Medical Center Auxiliary Pink Lady for several years. Ronnie was the President of the Arkansas Employee Association of Lee County. She loved karaoke, dancing and her two dogs, Ozzie and Fred. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Forrest City. Ronnie is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Brown Roberts and husband David of Knoxville, Arkansas, Sonya Townsend Fletcher and husband Brice of Widener, Teresa Nix Sterling and husband Trae of Lakeland, Tennessee, and son, Kenneth Earl Nix, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Hermitage, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her sister, Sharon Webb Devasier and husband Andy of Forrest City, and her brothers, James J. Webb and wife Pat of Jacksonville, Florida, Wayne Lee Webb and wife Jenni of Helena, and John E. Webb and wife Tanya of Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Hazel and brother, Raymond Allen Webb. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in her honor. Visitation will be held for Ronnie on Saturday, August 23rd at Stevens Funeral Home from 11 am until 12 pm. Funeral services will follow at 12 pm with burial in Marianna Memorial Park Cemetery.
