Renee left this world on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 12:25 in the afternoon, held in the love and presence of her family. She was 68.
She was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a fiercely loyal friend. But none of those titles capture the full picture of who Renee really was.
Renee had a spark. She lived with honesty, energy, and an unmistakable sense of humor. She didn’t sugarcoat things, and she didn’t hold back. She showed up for the people she loved and expected the same in return. She found joy in life’s small moments – morning coffee, a spontaneous dance in the kitchen, the sound of her grandkids’ laughter, or a late-night conversation that went deeper than planned.
She could be fiery and funny in the same breath, grounding and wild-hearted all at once. She loved big, forgave when it mattered, and never let you leave without knowing exactly how she felt – about you, the world, or whatever was on her mind that day.
Renee’s legacy lives on in the laughter of her grandchildren, the strength of her children, the devotion of her husband, the bond she shared with her sister, the resilience she carried forward from her mother, and the quiet complexity she inherited from her father. She taught us to tell the truth, laugh until it hurt, and to love without hesitation.
She will be missed beyond words and remembered in a thousand little ways: some loud, some quiet, all lasting. We’ll carry her with us. Not just in memory, but in the way we live louder, love bigger, and show up more boldly.
