With deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Renee Sylvester, on December 22, 2024, at the age of 64. Renee was born on April 22, 1960.
She graduated from Tara High School and enjoyed a long career working for the State of Louisiana. After retiring, Renee held a variety of jobs including Lake Urgent Care in Denham Springs, LA. She had a passion for rescuing animals as well as a love for travel. She was a devoted daughter as well as an amazing sister and aunt.
Renee was preceded in death by her mother, Valeria Ann Mott.
She is survived by her father, Benny Sylvester; her sisters, Trudy Breaux (Greg) and Lisa May; nieces and nephews, Michael Breaux, Tanner Breaux, Stevie Breaux, Brittany Norsworthy, Jacob Boney, Matthew May, and a longtime devoted friend, Sam Amin.
Renee will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
