Rex Garrard Obituary
Rex Garrard was born on June 26, 1937 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Hardin Garrard and Marie Rhodes Frazier.
On January 23, 1965, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Sue Paulk Garrard, who preceded him in death on November 06, 2012.
Rex was an Engineer for Alter Barge Line for 30 plus years. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
Rex departed this life on February 15, 2024 in Collierville, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 7 months, and 20 days.
He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Rexanna Garrard Freeman (Kevin Lee) of Southaven, Mississippi; half brother, Kenneth Frazier of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchild, Chase Lee Freeman (Julie Rebecca); and great grandchildren, Emily Claire Freeman and Macy Elizabeth Freeman.
In addition to his parents and wife, Rex was preceded in death by his brother, Ben Hardin Garrard.
