Rex Hale Obituary

Born on June 19, 1951, in Peoria, Illinois, Rex was the son of Roy and Tarlee (Cox) Hale, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his siblings Gary Hale, Donnie Hale, Merle Cox Jr., and Shirley Hale.
Rex is lovingly remembered by his sons: Chad (Stacy) Hale, Shawn (Wendy) Hale, Jason Barton, and Josh Hale; his many cherished grandchildren; and his surviving siblings: Patricia Cotelleso, Marsha Ross, Dennis Hale, Roger Cox, and Jeanie Cox.
A proud graduate of Manual High School in Peoria, Rex built a fulfilling career and retired from ABB in Jefferson City. He found joy in the outdoors-especially hunting and fishing-and treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and arrangements are being handled by The Wilton Mortuary. A celebration of Rex's life will be held at Industry Brewing Co., located at 8012 N Hale Ave, Peoria, IL 61615, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
