65, passed away at home with his family by his side on April 26, 2025, in Wichita, KS. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to George Tillman and Bonnie Marie (James) Hampton on February 9, 1960. Rex worked for Wescon Controls for 30 years before his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Rosetta M. (Combs) Hampton, Wichita, KS; daughter, Shanna Combs, Haysville, KS; sister, Marie (Mike) McCutcheon, Mulvane, KS; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Service will be held at a later date at Kechi Cemetery.
