Rex Lockhart Obituary

Born on September 27, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky, Rex was the son of the late Winters and Katherine Lockhart.
Rex was a proud veteran of the Indiana Army National Guard, where he honorably served and achieved the rank of E7 Sergeant First Class. He dedicated over 27 years of his professional life as a loyal employee at Philip Morris.
He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Linda Kay Lockhart; his parents, Winters and Katherine Lockhart; and his brother, Richard Lockhart.
Rex is survived by his son, Donald Lockhart. The family would like to acknowledge and extend their deep gratitude to his dedicated caregiver, Kara Skinner, along with the compassionate staff at Clark Rehabilitation, for the gracious care they provided.
A graveside service will take place at Walnut Ridge Cemetery on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
