Raymond Sumpter Obituary

Ray was born in 1975 to the late James and Dorothy Sumpter. Throughout his life, Ray embraced a simple, joyful existence. He had a passion for creativity and relaxation, often spending time on Arts and Crafts and enjoying friendly competition at the card table with games of Euchre and Dominos. His greatest comfort in recent years was the loving community at Meadowview, where his friends became the family he treasured.
Ray's memory will be cherished by his brothers, J.E. Sumpter of Salem, IN, and Kenny Albertson (Dessica) of Paoli, IN, along with his two nieces and seven nephews.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home. Following the viewing, cremation will occur.
