Linda Maureen Rush

Linda Maureen Rush, 79, of Borden, IN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. She was born in Cambridge, England, on April 13, 1946, to the late Dennis and Kathleen Fordham.
Linda was proud of her English heritage and made it a priority to share her love for her home country with her children, taking them to visit England every two to three years. She was the spiritual heart of her family, known for leading them in prayer and serving as a loving role model. The light of her life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose decisions she will continue to influence and who will forever hold a special place for her in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Edward Rush; her parents; and a grandchild, Londyn Jones.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Shirley Scott (Kevin) of Borden, IN; her son, Stuart Jones (Jennifer) of New Albany, IN; her brother, Gary Fordham (Phyllis) of Orba, Spain; her grandchildren, Amanda Eddington (Robert), Amber Wood, Natalie Harden, Christian Scott, and Paxton Curry (Hannah); and her six great-grandchildren, Addison, Annalee, Amelia, McKenzie, Adalie, and Blake.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
