Rex Narvaez Obituary
Rex Vaughnkirk Narvaez, 37, of Green Bay, passed away on July 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on June 17, 1988, in Edinburg, TX, to Irene Santos and Carlos “Charlie” Narvaez. Rex enjoyed fishing, skateboarding, gaming, grilling out, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his life-partner, Bethany Thyes; brothers, Kenneth Ninham (Ashleigh Rozek) and Levi Reyes; grandparents, Manuela (Ron) Michael; aunts and uncles, George “Jr.” Santos, Edelmiro Reyes, Chris (Tammy) Santos, Carlos Santos (Kate Farley), and Stephen Michael; Bethany’s family, Julie Thyes (Steve Glaser), Nicole (Brian) Burban, and Steve (Ann) Thyes; nieces and nephews, Isabella Hyde; Kendrick, Mila, and Zhavia Ninham; Ayden and Grayson Burban; Olivia and Evelyn Thyes; as well as many cousins, friends, and his beloved canine companion, Bella.
Rex was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Santos; maternal grandfather, George Santos Sr.; aunt, Karen Reyes; and Bethany’s father, Kevin Thyes.
The family would like to thank the St. Vincent ICU doctors and staff for their care and compassion for Rex and the entire family during this difficult time. A private celebration of life will be held in Rex’s honor.
