It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Reynold Paul Miller, age 70, of North East, MD, who passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Born on December 18, 1954, in Tipton, PA, Ren was a beloved husband, brother, and friend, known for his passion for the written word and love for his family.
Ren graduated with a Bachelor's Degree and went on to have a distinguished career in the publishing industry as the Editor-in-Chief of Design NJ, New Jersey's premier Home & Design magazine. His keen eye for detail and creative approach left a lasting impact on the magazine and the design community.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Reynold was a devoted member of the North East Methodist Church, North East, MD, where he contributed his musical talents as an organist and pianist. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed cooking, and took great pleasure in making jam and canning, often sharing his homemade creations with family and friends.
Ren is survived by his loving wife, Betsy (Rutter) Miller, and his brother, Robert Miller of Tipton, PA. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Miller and Bertha (McClellan) Miller Glasgow.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 1:00 pm at North East Methodist Church, 308 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. All are welcome to pay their respects and share memories of Ren.
