Rhoda Ann Pearthree, 94, longtime Superior resident, passed away peacefully at Villa Marina Health and Rehab Center on February 7, 2025.
She was born April 29,1930 in Superior, Wisconsin to Oscar and Esther (Johnson) Eng.
She was a graduate of the Central High School, the Class of 1948 where she met her sweetheart, Clifford.
On May 13, 1952, Rhoda and Clifford were married at Concordia Lutheran Church. She was a loving and devoted wife sharing sixty years together until Clifford passed in 2012. Throughout their marriage, they enjoyed time together at their cabin. They frequently traveled throughout the United States visiting family and friends. They made a trip to Norway to visit their son. They were winter snowbirds in Arizona for many years.
Rhoda was a lifelong faithful member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was a member of the CLCW Rhoda-Elizabeth circle served countless funerals and church functions.
She was a proud 1952 registered nurse graduate of St. Luke's School of Nursing. She was a caregiver to many and provided daycare for her two grandchildren.
Rhoda was a past member of St. Luke's Nurse's Alumni, Sons of Norway, and Twin Ports Rosmaling Society. She enjoyed many hobbies including crocheting, knitting, sewing, quilting, ceramics, and Rosmaling.
Rhoda was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We were richly blessed with her longevity and quality years of life. She brought joy to many people she came to know throughout her life's journey. She will be deeply missed but her memory will live within our hearts forever.
She is survived by her children, Steven (Randy Rowoldt) Pearthree, Minneapolis, MN, Beth (Brian) Wiirre and Lou (Dale) Kuhlman; grandchildren, Adam (Jennifer) Kuhlman, and Jessie Graber; great-grandchildren, Hazel Kuhlman, Forrest Kuhlman, Layla Graber, all of Superior, WI.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and half-brother Clarence Christianson.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Rhoda's name to St. Luke's Foundation, American Cancer Society, or the charity of the donor's choice.
