Rhonda Whisenhunt McNully, age 50, of Farmington, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
She was born on December 15, 1972, in Hot Springs, the daughter of J.W. Whisenhunt and Hixie Irene Cook Whisenhunt. She was preceded in death by her father.
Rhonda married the love of her life, Bruce McNully, on November 29, 1997. Rhonda was a former track and field member of the University of Arkansas and Caddo Hills High School. She set records that are still the best to this day. She graduated from the University of Arkansas and was a member of the class of 1991 at Caddo Hills. Rhonda was an avid Razorback fan, and loved all things outdoors, hunting, fishing, and bowling. She played co-ed softball for many years and after that she umpired and coached teams. She loved her dogs, house and hunting both. Rhonda loved her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce McNully of Farmington; her mother, Hixie Whisenhunt of Glenwood; her sister, Deborah White of Wylie, Texas; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Mount Tabor Community Church with Bro. Olin Vaughn, Bro. Tony Hill, and Bro. David Keller officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Williams, Greg Williams, James Dean Cox, James Dumont, David Porter, Gage Galloway, Todd Ray, and Craig Cowart. Guest Registry can be found at www.smithfamilycares.com.
