Rhonda Ruth Verbanic, a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on May 6, 1959, in Santa Cruz, California, Rhonda was known for her warm spirit and zest for life. She made her home in Milford, Ohio, where she touched the lives of many.
Rhonda's greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Verbanic; her daughter, Emma (Jason) Daniels; her grandchildren, Adelyn, Lorelei, and Carson Daniels; her brother, Richard Gilgen; all of her loving nieces and nephews, including Caitlynn and Carly Gilgen, Charlotte and Ben Verbanic, and Eric (Holly) Ray. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Gilgen.
A woman of many passions, Rhonda adored spending time with her grandchildren, always eager to create lasting memories through crafts, drawing, and imaginative play. Her vibrant green thumb made her a natural caretaker of plants, filling her home with life and color. Rhonda was also known for her generous spirit, often volunteering with Buddy Walk, where her warmth and kindness shone brightly.
Her love for road trips and her unwavering support for the Cincinnati Reds brought her immense joy, symbolizing her deep connection to both her loved ones and her community. Rhonda had a unique gift for making everyone feel comfortable and valued, embodying a spirit of openness and kindness that will be deeply missed.
The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Rhonda's life at a funeral service held at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on November 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
