Ricardo Mojica Obituary
Ricardo Borrego Mojica, 51, of Lubbock went to be with the Lord Monday, April 22, 2023. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Martin Pina officiating.
Ricardo was born on November 16, 1971, in Lubbock to Julian and Erlentina Mojica. He worked as a brick and concrete layer for numerous years. He enjoyed music, especially Tejano and playing his accordion. He had his own special style and enjoyed wearing hats, bandanas and glasses when putting together an outfit. His family will always remember how Ricardo had a very special personality, not only did he always strive to gain respect from others, but there was also a funny side of him, he always wanted to see others smile. Above all, Ricardo had a deep love for his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother Erlentina Mojica.
Those left to cherish his memory are his three daughters Jacqueline Mojica, Briana Mojica and Lauren Mojica; three sons Ricky Mojica Jr., Lincoln Mojica and Biyetz Mojica; his father Julian Mojica; brothers Andres Mojica, Julian Mojica Jr. and Michael Mojica; sisters Teresa Valdez and Norma Mojica; seven grandchildren.
