Richard L. Anstine, age 85, of Louisville, OH passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025. He was born April 17, 1939 in Hartville, OH to Ralph and Ethel Mae (Warstler) Anstine. Rich and his family moved to the farm on Rt 619 across from Marlboro School in 1950 and he was a graduate of there in 1957. He retired from Buckeye Packaging Inc. in Marlboro after 53 years of service and was a long-time member of the Ohio Wagon Train Assoc. His pastimes were farming, caring for his Haflingers, watching the Cleveland Cavaliers, but most of all spending time with his brothers and sisters, children and grandchildren.
Rich was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Juanita Hoff; sister-in-law's Linda Anstine and Suzanne Anstine. He is survived by three sons, Mark (Stacy), Mike (Jill) and Matt (Sue) Anstine; two sisters, Mary Louise (Gerald) Bixler, Jean (Steve) DeHart; four brothers, Ray (Donna), Roger, Arnold and Roy Anstine, brother-in-law Robert Hoff; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday January 28, 2025 at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville, OH. Rich will be laid to rest in Marlboro Cemetery.
