Richard J. Bianchi of Tucson, Arizona formerly of Dousman, passed away December 31, 2023, at the age of 88. He was born in Salem, Massachusetts on March 13, 1935, the son of Angelo and Concetta (nee Pascalini) Bianchi. He attended St. Mary’s grade and high school in Lynn, Massachusetts, graduating in 1953. Richard continued his education at Northeastern University in Boston earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1961. He completed his Masters work at the University of Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Whitewater. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 until 1957 and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. On September 16, 1961, he married the former Marilyn Larsen. They were married for 38 years until her passing on August 20, 1999. Richard worked as an accountant for Globe-Union, AC Delco, Vilter Manufacturing, RTE, Filer, Stowell and Seaman, Globe Van Doorn and Hartel Corp. He was a proud member of The Institute of Management Accountants for over 25 years.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter Kristine (Joe) Nowak of Dousman, his grandchildren Nicholas (Kelly) Nowak of Pewaukee, Matthew (Lauren Russo) Nowak of East Troy, and Joshua (Jaksen Curtin) Nowak of Dousman. He is also survived by his sister Kathleen Flood and his second wife Cynthia who he married September 9, 2019, at St. Bruno’s Catholic Church in Dousman, and Cynthia’s children Ray Martinez, Louis (Jacky Hudnall) Franco, and George Franco, Sr., her grandchildren George Franco, Jr., and Hansom Franco, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. In addition to his first wife Marilyn, he was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Thora and Gustave Larsen, brothers Paul, Albert, James, and Tony, sister Flora Dolaser, brothers-in-law Vincent Dolaser, and Joseph Flood, and sisters-in-law Florence Bianchi, Frannie Bianchi, and Tina Bianchi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Bruno’s Catholic Church 226 W. Ottawa Avenue Dousman, Wisconsin 53118. Graveside services with full military honors will take place following the Mass at Ottawa Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to St. Bruno’s Catholic Church, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org/give.html and All Seated in a Barn https://www.allseatedinabarn.com/ .
