The world is a little less bright and alive today, knowing that Dr. Bisson has passed on. He surely ranks as one of the most remarkable, intelligent, hysterically funny and memorable persons I've ever encountered in life. As one of his patients, I actually looked forward to going to the dentist, because he never failed to make the entire visit completely satisfying and certainly the highlight of my day. And his professional skill seemed almost preternatural. His was clearly a mind blazingly alive in the world. And my God, how he could crack me up! He was genuinely interested in what was going on in my own life, and he always had something wise and insightful to add to the conversation. He was one of the rare ones indeed. I offer my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the entire family and his friends. May God bless his shining soul.

Deepest sympathies to the Bisson children. Your father was (as you know) one of a kind- , generous, compassionate, funny and brilliant. We will forever hold him dear in our hearts and count ourselves most fortunate to have had him in our lives.
