Richard W. Bogan

Richard W. "Dick" Bogan, 88, of Lafayette passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at IU Health Hospital.
Dick was born June 10, 1935 in Stockwell, IN, to the late Russell and Edna (Hicks) Bogan. He was a 1953 graduate of Monitor High School.
On August 7, 1954 he married the love of his life, Estella M. Snyder in Dayton, IN. They were married for 57 years before her passing on March 15, 2012.
Dick was a Farmer for over 45 years; farming was his life. He loved cars, primarily Studebakers and anything John Deere. He enjoyed doing yard work and tinkering with tractors.
Surviving are his children: Diana (John) Grove, Peggy (Dave) McClure and Scott Bogan; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Along with his wife, Estella, he is preceded in passing by his parents, brother, Donald Bogan and sister, Mary Lou Bogan.
Private family services are scheduled. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the nurses and staff of IU Hospice for their care and compassion to Richard during his final days.
