Richard Bostdorf Obituary
Born in New Buffalo, on August 7, 1945, he was a son of the late Francis E. and Margaret V. (Johnston) Bostdorf. Richard honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
An avid outdoorsman, he was able to share his enjoyment of hunting and fly fishing with his customers at Bonitz Bros. Sporting Goods, where he worked in sales for over 30 years until his retirement.
Richard is survived by his brothers, Vance (Ann) Bostdorf of New Buffalo and Walter (Sun) Bostdorf of Mechanicsburg; sister, Gayle Fenton of Enola; nieces, a nephew and great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his companion of 35 years, Trudy Hile, of Oriental, Juniata County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Florence Bostdorf.
Arrangements for Richard are private and at the convenience of the family.
