Vance Truman Bostdorf, 74, passed peacefully from his home in New Buffalo Monday August 21, 2023 with his loving wife at his side. Born Saturday November 6th, 1948, to the late Francis and Margaret Bostdorf.
Vance was a quiet man devoted to his family. He was known for his pride in the National Rifle Association, National Turkey Federation, and any excuse to go turkey hunting, the true passion in his life. He was an outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing as well as outdoor activities. Vance also enjoyed landscaping his yard, feeding the birds and squirrels, and spending time with his grandsons. He worked for many years and retired from Excel Logistics.
Vance is predeceased by his parents, an infant sister, brother Richard Bostdorf and step son Scott Kline. He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Ann Kline Bostdorf of New Buffalo; son Michael Bostdorf and wife Danette of New Buffalo; two grandsons Jacob and Zaron Bostdorf of Duncannon; great grandson Archer Bostdorf of Duncannon; brother Walter Bostdorf and his wife Sun of Camphill; sister Gayle Fenton of Enola, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
