Richard "Rick" June Brewster was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 in Anadarko, Oklahoma at the age of 78. Rick was born October 29, 1944 near Apache, Oklahoma to June and Dorothy (Cooper) Brewster.
Rick married the love of his life, Wynona Holland on February 16, 1963 in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. They would have been married for 60 years this coming February. He always said she was the only one for him. They lived within the community all of his life. Rick worked hard and provided for his family. He was employed with PSO and worked for them longer than anyone there. A total of 45 dedicated years.
Rick was a great father and grandfather. He was always there for anyone. He had a very big heart. He was a Christian man and a member of the Church of Christ in Fort Cobb his whole life. He was a very big NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching as much as possible. Rick touched the heart of many and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Wynona Brewster of the home; children: Richard Wayne Brewster, Robbie Delynne Brewster and Janine G. (Brewster) Hunt; brother, John and wife, Lydia Brewster; grandchildren: Amie M. Grisso, Robin and Brandy Brewster, Aaron Shaffer, Todd D. Brewster, Kaleb D. and Kyle C. Brewster, Jake Hall, Jordan and Kay Brewster, Ali Brewster, Seth Hunt, Amairah Hunt, Damian and Katie Brewster along with 22 great grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joe Brewster
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 28, 2022 at the Church of Christ in Fort Cobb. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Cobb. Services are under the direction of Fort Cobb Funeral Home.
