Richard Ceriello Obituary
Richard Joseph Ceriello, 97 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Sunday September 28th, 2025. Richard was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, moved to Staten Island in 1982 where he lived until he moved to Little Egg Harbor, NJ 19 years ago. Richard proudly served our nation in the United States Navy and went on to work as a bus operator for the New Transit Authority. He was a member of St Theresa’s R.C. Church here in Little Egg Harbor and was a previous member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed watching baseball and rooting for the NY Yankees.
Richard was predeceased by his wife Norma Ceriello.
He is survived by his daughters Christine Twomley and husband Thomas of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Susan DeVita and husband Edward of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, grandchildren Thomas Twomley and wife Kimberley, Elizabeth Vogeley and husband Bryan, Richard Joseph Twomley and wife Patrice and Anthony Cocurullo and great-grandchildren Madison, McKenna, Harlow, Hayden and Ashton.
Cremation will be private, and a burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery 283 Beachview Ave Manahawkin, NJ 08050 on Thursday October 2nd, 2025 at 11am.
