Richard Kyle Clason was born December 31, 1988, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Jennifer (Cummings) Munholland and Rob Guynes. Kyle was an amazing young man who loved life and enjoyed the simple things. He loved fishing, water sports, lake days, sunsets, pool days, or just target shooting a gun. He was the apple of his mom's eye, and she spoke to him 2-3 times a day all his life and adored him beyond words.
Kyle was raised in Henryetta, attending public school. He was always on the honor roll and had perfect attendance. Kyle enjoyed playing football and golf until graduating in 2007, then he golfed for leisure and enjoyed teaching others the love of golf. He attended OSU-Okmulgee concurrently in high school, then moved to Stillwater to further his education. Kyle met the love of his life, Megan (Lambert) Clason, and they began dating.
Kyle was actively a member of the OSU fraternity TKE and had many fraternity brothers, including a very special best friend, Conner Stone, with whom he spent many years of friendship enjoying each other's company. Kyle and Megan eventually married, making their home in Stillwater. Kyle and Megan have two very special children who are the light of their lives: Richard Kyle Clason Jr. (Reks), born in 2012, and Luna Christine Clason, born in 2015. They eventually made their home in Henryetta, where they enjoy their careers, allowing the kids to attend the very school that the majority of the family once attended.
Kyle graduated from OSU with two associate degrees and one bachelor's degree, then later decided he wanted a new career and was scheduled to finish his doctorate degree in psychology in August 2025. Kyle had a big heart and was always wanting to help others, working in the family business at Fountain View Manor, handling all HR and IT needs.
