Richard Crouthamel was called home to be with The Lord on May 8, 2024. Born on January 12, 1961, he grew up in Hatboro, Pennsylvania and followed in his father's footsteps as a 3rd generation painter. He was a loving and faithful husband to his wife and best friend, Jessica Harrison, whom he married on November 16, 2013. He was known for his generous spirit and his desire to serve the body of Christ.
Rich was very active in his home church, Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, and served in a number of ministries including the Prison Ministry, New Believers, Men's Discipleship, and Throne of Grace. He loved reading and memorizing the Word of God and was always quick to encourage others with a scripture. His life was a testament to the love, power, and grace of his Lord, Jesus Christ.
Rich is survived by his wife Jessica and his son Jake. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Roberta Crouthamel, and his brother, Lawrence Crouthamel. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 11:00 am - 11:45 am at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia located at 13500 Philmont Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19116. A Celebration of Life Service will follow 12:00 pm at the church. Interment will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
We encourage all who knew Rich to leave memories and upload photos to the memorial page as we celebrate his life and homecoming.
