Richard Dallacroce Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. on Feb. 14, 2026.
Richard Warren Dallacroce, age 75, of Sharon, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Richard was born in Sharon, PA, on March 23, 1951, to Fury and Denise (Jacquot) Dallacroce.

Richard was known for his strength, wit, and deep pride in the life he built. He spent most of his career as an A1 welder at Sharon Steel, where his dedication and strong work ethic earned the respect of coworkers and friends alike. Outside of work, Richard found great joy in caring for his home and yard. His passion for landscaping was unmistakable, and his property often looked as though it belonged in a home and garden magazine. Richard was an avid motorcyclist. He invested many years restoring his motorcycle, often finding original parts to have it just how he wanted. He was especially proud of the house he spent 30 years building, before later moving to Florida, to enjoy retirement.

Because of his deep love for his grandchildren, Richard chose to return home to be closer to family, a decision that reflected the devotion and warmth that defined his life. He was an avid coin collector who spent countless hours polishing and perfecting his coins, and he followed the stock market with great interest. Richard also loved fishing and spent many peaceful hours on the lake with family and friends, especially at Lake Erie. When he was younger, he loved to travel and proudly visited all 50 states.

He will be remembered for his humor, steady strength, and the deep love he had for his family. His presence, guidance, and pride in those he loved will never be forgotten. Richard will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Richard is lovingly survived by his children, Veronica Dallacroce, Cheyenne Bonanno, Dalton McAfoose, Chris Dallacroce, Dana, Dallacroce, and Brian Dallacroce ; his sister, Patricia Dallacroce of Berkeley, California; his grandchildren, Kayden Cominsky, Areia Cominsky, McKenzie McAfoose, and Waylen Bonanno; and his life-long companion, Karen Akins.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Fury Dallacroce, Denise Dallacroce and a son Eric Dallacroce.

The family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held at John Flynn Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. on Monday, February 16th from 2:00-3:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Swogger officiating.

Messages of sympathy, stories and photos can be shared on Richard's memorial page, at: www.flynnfuneralhome.com.
