Saint Clair, Minnesota – Richard “Dick”Fitzloff, 68 of Saint Clair passed away at home on September 21, 2025.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 27th at Mankato Mortuary, with visitation beginning at 9:30am. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Saint Clair. A celebration of life will continue at 1:30 pm at the St. Clair American Legion.
Dick was the beloved son of the late Jim and Shirley (Demars) Fitzloff. He grew up in a lively household, welcomed by his siblings Greg, Roxanne, Jimmy Lee and Jackie. Dick was a proud lifelong resident of Saint Clair where he was known for his humor, hospitality at “the gazebo”, ability to fix anything and most importantly his love for his family and animals. Dick had the rare ability to make every person feel like they belonged. With an occasional toothless smile, quick wit, and a heart that never knew a stranger, Dick could bring people together in the most effortless way. Dick passed away leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and community. Dick is survived by his children, Mandy (Fitzloff) Freitag, Ryan Fitzloff (Laura Gaffer), grandchildren, Brandon (Kaylee) Freitag, Riley Fitzloff, Alex Freitag (Kylie Christians),Sam Freitag, Briggs Fitzloff, Tynley Fitzloff, and great-grandson Rhett Freitag, siblings, Greg Fitzloff(Nancy),Roxanne Seys, Jackie Fitzloff (Dani Larson).
