Richard “Dick” L Lausier Sr, 87, born 5/24/38 in Marblehead MA passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025. Son of the late Frederic Lausier and Mary (O’Shaughnessy) Lausier Robertson.
Dick married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Thirza A Northrup later in life. They lived in Brentwood NH.. Their time was spent exploring and traveling. Many winters spent in South Carolina.
Dick joined the Marine Corps in 1958 for 4 years. Following an honorable discharge as an E5 Sargent. He worked in Local 138 as a plumber/pipefitter for over 40 years. After retirement, he worked as a bailiff at Rockingham County Court House. He belonged to the Crooked River Masonic Lodge, Bolsters Mills, Me.
He enjoyed many outdoor activities: fishing, hunting, kayaking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ATVing.
Dick is survived by his wife, Thirza A Northrup, His children : Richard (Connie)Lausier Jr, Kim Lausier, Deb Lausier, David Lausier and Robert Lausier. Stepchildren: Michael (Elaine Deschambeault and Jacquie (John) Agel.
Grandchildren: Nicholas Lausier, Janelle Plummer, Amy Libby, Myriah Connelly, Meghan Wedge, Joey Deschambeault, Matt Deschambeault and Amy Merando and eight great grandchildren.
A private service at the chapel at NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH at 1:00 pm December 1, 2025.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society at NMCRS.org.
