Richard D. DiRocco, 78, of North Providence, passed away on Friday March 14th in The Lighthouse at Lincoln. He was the husband of Sarah L. (Croft) DiRocco.
They had been married for over 50 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Domenic and Jennie DiRocco. He had lived in North Providence for 31 years previously living in Providence.
Richard was a veteran of the RI Army National Guard. He was an avid New England Patriots fan.
Richard was the Founder and President of Continental Engineering in Johnston.
He leaves his sons, Richard J. DiRocco and his wife Pamela of Greenville and Michael T. DiRocco and his wife Michelle of North Providence. He was the grandfather of Richard D. DiRocco, Anthony M. DiRocco, Michael P. DiRocco and Matthew T. DiRocco.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday March 20th at 9:30am in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 4th Street, North Providence. His burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 19th from 4pm to 7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Lighthouse at Lincoln, 425 Albion Road, Lincoln, RI 02865 or Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 4th Street, North Providence, RI 02911
