Richard Leroy Drollinger, age 67, of Caledonia, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Richard was born to his late parents, Richard Leroy Drollinger and Garnet Frances Belford, on November 16, 1957, in Marion, OH.
Richard was a hard-working man with a heart of gold. He worked at Arcelor-Mittal for nearly 20 years as a machinist. He began his career at the Marion Power Shovel, before moving onto Rockwell International in Columbus, OH. He was especially proud of his work on the B-1 Lancer program, and heavier machine work during his time at HPM in Mt. Gilead, OH. He was a proud member of the United Steel Workers of America. On his days off, he enjoyed working on his vintage Chrysler and attending all of the local car shows. After his retirement, he enjoyed studying the histories of Chrysler America, and The Ford Motor Company. Richard was an animal lover, specifically cats.
Richard is preceded in d death by his parents, his past wife, Terri Drollinger, his sisters, Kim Ann Drollinger and Tina Drollinger.
He is survived by his sisters, Vickie (Sky dcd.) Clapsaddle, Patricia (Ira dcd.)
Foreman, and his nieces and nephews, Chris, Heather (Jeremey Buck) Clapsaddle, Jeff Elliott, Richard (Lettie) Elliott, Tammy (Ralph) Bannister, Tony (Barbara) Foreman, and Emma Foreman, his two great nieces, Alessa and Sophia Zechiel.
There will be an interment at the Marion Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to the Homeless to Home Animal Rescue Shelter:
