Richard Edgell Obituary

Born in Youngstown, OH on August 17, 1942, he was the son of the late Elmer E. and Catherine H. (Higgins) Edgell. Richard graduated from Bethel Park High School with the Class of 1960. He went on to serve in the Marines and then worked as an Electronics Test Supervisor for Southern California Edison.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Richard L. husband of Barbara Edgell, Jr. of Potomac, MD., and Michael L. husband of Elizabeth Edgell of Lebanon; daughter Michele T. Edgell of Richland, WA; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers William and Thomas Edgell; and sisters Patricia Sevick, Kay Boyan, and Susan Kostichack. He was preceded in death by his sister Maryann Kutusin.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A funeral procession will form on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd. Jonestown.

I enjoyed many years working with Rich and the times we spent together discussing just about anything. He was a tremendous help to me at SONGS over the years. May you find peace in God at this time.
