Richard A. Flitton

Richard A. Flitton, 71, of Greeley, died on Friday, August 20, 2010 at his home. He was born April 17, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Curtis and Louella (Rawson) Flitton. He married Judith A. Fredericksen on April 8, 1961 in Spokane, Washington and she died on September 20, 2009. Richard worked as a mechanic for United Airlines for 33 years. He was a member of the Highland Hills Men's Golf Association and enjoyed watching the Rockies, flying fishing, camping and restoring Austin Healey's. Survivors include his son David (Kelli) Flitton of Maryland, daughters Diane (Tim) Wirth of Lafayette and Janet Saxe of Greeley, 9 grandchildren, brothers Ralph of Salt Lake City, UT and Wilford of Oklahoma, sisters Charlotte Jensen of St. George, UT and Myrl Ross of Salt Lake City, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Karlyn Flitton, 4 brothers Dave, Jack, Ron and Harold, granddaughters Hannah Flitton and Mary Wirth. Cremation, no service to follow.
