Richard Garden II, 65, of Salem passed away on May 17th, 2025. He was born on January 29th, 1960, in Norman, Oklahoma to Richard and Shirley (Hulen) Garden.
Richard was a simple man that enjoyed playing pool, fast cars, and helping people whenever possible.
He is survived by his mother: Shirley Garden of Salem; sister: Katrina Hughes and husband Jim of Sullivan, Illinois; brother: Andy Garden of Salem; several nieces and nephews; and special cousin: Scott Garden and wife Tracey of Salem.
He was preceded in death by his father: Richard Garden
Cremation rites will be accorded, per family wishes. A memorial service will be held on Friday May 23rd, 2025, at 11:30 am at the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Christopher Spenner officiating. A time of visitation for friends and family will be held from 10:30 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association and will be accepted at Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home, PO Box 97, Salem, Illinois 62881.
