Richard Joseph Grimm, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Three Rivers, Michigan, on October 2, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born on October 14, 1942, in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Richard is survived by his devoted wife, Linda (Kennedy) Grimm, whose unwavering support brought joy and companionship to his life. Together, they raised four children: Robb Grimm, Kathy VanHaitsma, Angie Martin, and Cary Grimm. Richard's legacy continues through his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with his love and wisdom.
Also mourning the loss of Richard are his brother, Steve Grimm, his sister, Barbara Brown, and countless nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Each of them carries memories that highlight Richard's kindness, humor, and strength.
In his final days, Richard was surrounded by love and support, particularly from his grandson, Josh Martin, and his niece, Shelly Vacca, who were instrumental in providing care during this time. Their dedication exemplified the deep bonds of family that Richard cherished throughout his life.
Richard will be remembered not only for the love he shared with those around him but also for the indelible mark he left on their hearts. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
