Richard Haag, 82, formerly of Mohrsville passed away October 29, 2025, at Laureldale Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Quinton and Arlene (High) Haag
Richard was a 1961 graduate of Reading High School. He was a Veteran and served in the Army.
Richard had various occupations however, being a truck driver for General Battery Corporation- where he was a proud member of Teamsters Local 429, his time as a police officer for the Laureldale Police, and over 35 years driving school bus, (last working for Eshelman Transportation) gave him his most fulfillment.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Nigel) of Bernville; his son Richard; and his five grandchildren: Crystin, Tony, Dani, Amanda "Doodle Bug" and Jon; as well as four great grandchildren.
Richard is also survived by his ex-turned loving friend, Lauren, and his beloved turtle, Skippy.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Laureldale Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care they gave to Richard. We would also like to thank Caring Hospice Services, for their kindness, compassion and 24/7 support.
