Sharon C. (Reppert) Phillips, of Tilden Township, passed away on October 4, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was 81 years old, born in Albany Township on April 28, 1944.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 63 years, Irvin R. Phillips. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Jeanette (Tilden Township), wife of Kenneth H. Rentschler, and one son, Irvin C. Phillips (Shoemakersville), companion of Dawn Weinsteiger. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Kenneth Jr. and Katelyn, wife of Matthew Gatley, and one great-grandchild, Gwendolyn Ann.
Other survivors include four sisters: Audrey O'Dea (Florida), Paula Aldridge (New York), Becky Atwell (Hamburg), and Cori Drobnica (New York); and four brothers: Dennis Reppert (Palmyra), Stephen Reppert (Fleetwood), Richard Reppert (Fleetwood), and Kerry Reppert (Shoemakersville). There are also 28 nieces and nephews.
Sharon was a high school graduate and a graduate of Bryland Institute of Cosmetology. She was a licensed beautician. Over the years, she assisted in the care of many children, including her grandchildren, as she lived next door to them and was always there to care for them as they were growing up. She worked at the Hamburg Center before her retirement.
Sharon belonged to St. Luke's Union Church in Shoemakersville and was active as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was also a member of Dorcas. She loved quilting, gardening, and being with her family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Luke's Union Church, 5th St, Shoemakersville, PA 19555.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m, at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, 40 S 4th St, Hamburg, PA 19526, with committal to follow at St. Luke's Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
