Richard Harriott

Richard was a man of quiet strength, deep intelligence, and gentle humor. Reserved by nature, he was deeply observant and offered insight, kindness, and perfectly timed wit to those fortunate enough to know him. His calm presence and empathy made others feel seen, safe and accepted.

Richard was a beloved son to Lesa and Audley, and a cherished stepson to Elroy Ham, his mother's husband.

He was a devoted brother to Ackeem, Camren, and Kareem, and a proud father to Nevaeh and La'Riyah. He was preceded in death by his loving partner, Diana Lyons, and his cherished son, La'Shaun.

Richard attended State College Area High School where he played football, where he graduated, and later pursued his passion for cooking at Penn State Williamsport, studying culinary arts. He loved to cook and found joy in preparing meals for those he cared about.

He also found peace in nature, reading, and woodworking, always focused on building a better future for his family.

Though his life was lived quietly, Richard's impact was profound and lasting, and he will be deeply missed.
